how did you find your insurance agent?

hi, i''m looking for an insurance agent, specifically chubbs, to cover my engagement ring but the search on the chubbs website returns pages and pages of agents. (the "disadvantages" of being in nyc.

) so i''m wondering how others picked their insurance agent? what questions should i ask? and is there a price difference between agents even though the end insurance policy should be the same?

and if anyone has a recommendation in the nyc area, that would be fantastic!!
