Hi girls! I was wondering if anyone had any creative ideas on how to ask my friends to be in my wedding party! I don''t want to just ask...I wanted to do something kinda fun and memorable. Any thoughts or ideas woud be greatly appreciated, I''m stumped on this one. Thanks!

Hey, I just did mine the other night, how funny! I made some handmade cards - I used the same paper that I''m using for the invites so my MOH recognized it right away and she giggled. LOL! Anyway, it was a simple bi-fold card, nothing fancy. I wrote their names in calligraphy on the front, then on the inside right-hand side I glued on a little fabric dress that I got from an Arts and Crafts store. Then I did a calligraphy-type border around the edge. On the left-hand side I wrote a really personal note and then said "Will you be my bridesmaid?". Oh, and the card for my MOH had a bouquet of little blue flowers in addition to the dress. I was really excited after I made them, I couldn''t wait to give it to them. LOL! I will post pics when I get home tonight.

Another way to ask is my friend took us all out for dinner and during dinner she asked us all at the same time. That was fun too!

Here are pics of the cards:

My fat calligraphy pen ran out of ink so the angles aren''t as obvious and pretty with the smaller sized calligraphy pen:

The BM cards only had dresses. The dress looks much cuter in person, the tulle makes it look kind of funny in the picture. But I like how the border turned out, I did it further away from the edge of the card. If you notice on the MOH card the border is closer to the edge and doesn't look as nice:

Thank you so much, I love all your ideas. The handmade cards are awesome, so much more personal than store bought. I''m not that crafty, so this may be interesting, but I think I''ll try.
