How does AIGS report photo compare to your actual stone?

Folks here like to compare their gemstones (physically in hand) to vendor photos.

For those who have gemstones with the AIGS report
I would like to know how representative is the AIGS photo (in the "Gemstone Identification Report e-Report" compared to your gemstone.

Very different in color (photo in AIGS report seems over expose, but you can still tell the cut and shape I will try to get some pict.

My AIGS cert for my blue sapphire was horrible. The actual stone is far better IRL.

Yes, they''re not always identical to the gem IRL. Some of mine are, and some not so much.

you would think companies would try to do this photo part right because photos paint a thousand words
and they ARE writing a report on the stone arent'' they?
