How long does it take for packages from CC?

For Christmas this year, my dad ordered me a gorgeous strand of pearls from Catherine Cardellini. He ordered it in early December and received notice that it shipped on 12/11. It still hasn't arrived. He's called Catherine who doesn't have a tracking number for the package but said sometimes it can take a while. Does it usually take a month? I'm desperate for my pearls!
 
It can take a while. The quickest has been 2 weeks and longest a month. But I sent something to her from US and it's been over a month but she still haven't received it.
 
My mother in law ordered some earrings from her around the same time, and they came before Christmas. Hopefully your necklace will be here soon! I have some other things coming in from other countries that I ordered before Christmas and they still haven't arrived, so take heart. The holidays probably put a big dent in shipping productivity.

I think mine took about 3 weeks. I ordered late November and received before Christmas. Yours probably got bogged down in the Christmas rush.
 
Thank you for this post. I take it she doesn't send your items Fedex or UPS. What happens if the item never shows up?
 
NacreLover - I don't believe my dad has asked about that yet. CC said it could till take some time. I'm really hoping I don't have to find out! But if its not here in another month, I will encourage him to ask for a refund or another necklace to be sent with tracking. Surely it'll arrive soon!
 
I had asked Catherine about that when mine was taking longer than I thought it was supposed to and she said she'd never had a package go missing before- so hopefully yours will turn up soon.

The pearls did not arrived. Yesterday, Catherine contacted my parents to check in. When she learned that they had not shown up, she immediately offered to let me pick out another strand as a replacement at no cost. She mailed the new strand later in the afternoon via registered mail. She even sent me several additional pictures of my necklace. I am so impressed with her customer service! It wasn't her fault that it got lost in the mail but she went out of her way to make it right. I think she has a new customer for life! She did say that this is the first time she's ever had something not arrive.
