How many sets of studs do ladies have (or want)?

hmm... I thought I had edited my post earlier -- it must have timed out. (hectic day).

I think having two sets of studs, especially so clse in size would be redundant. BUT, I think it would be fun to have a similar size of everyday stones set in a wire hoop drop. (I forget the specific term for them). I''ll try to find a picture. I think they would make good everyday and dressier earrings, and be different from plain studs.

Here is a bezel set version from Knox jewelery. I've also seen basket set types. I don't know what size stone it takes for this setting to look right, but I think it is a fun variation for everyday.

Yes, you''re probably right. I dunno. I like the leverbacks, but maybe in a bigger size with bezel settings. I''m also thinking that prong set hoops, maybe inside out would be a preferred "dangling" option.

I like AGBF''s idea of framing a colored stone, but I usually prefer traps with colored stones.

Hmm, maybe I''ll get three stones and make a three stone pendant like this one? Too trendy?
