i paid $1700

for my first computer a PC 286 33mhz with 8 mb ram.i waited ,waited i knew they were gonna get cheaper. nowadays i wouldn''t spend more than $600 on a new one.i remember seeing the first Apple pc ,the price was $2900

i paid $700

for my first cell phone. nowadays most of them are free with service.


Now i''m waiting for the plasma tv to go down in price to a point where i can buy a 60" for $3500

Computer= $3600 for an Apple G4 PB
Cell Phone= free, then when I switched to a provider that didn''t absolutely SUCK, $250

first computer: $3700 gateway 150mhz pentium MMX labtop

upgrades a year and a half later $1500

second comptuer: $3800 dell workstation 1.5ghz P4

upgrades 2 years later: ~ $1200

..............im on the hunt again for a labtop this time... i depend heavily on workstation in the office now which is the company''s dime (~ 6k dual xenon dell workstation)
