How to find appraiser??

I live in central Indiana. I did an search from ASA''s website for an appraiser in Indy but there aren''t any.

What other options are there for getting my diamond appraised? I purchased it online and have a 30 day return policy and I should get it on Friday.

One option is to send it to one of the appraisers listed here, even if they are not local. Lots of people do this, and they become your "expert eyes", communicating with you throughout the process. Rich Sherwood, Dave Atlas, Bill Lieberman, and a few others are all reputed to be top notch. If you haven't already had the stone shipped to you, you can typically have the vendor ship it directly to them, saving a shipping step.

Try a search for ISA also look locally for stores that belong to the AGS and see if
they have a CGA on staff. They can tell you if you got the right thing. For more
