To preface my question, FI and I have been engaged since last November and are having our wedding in May 2008.
FI plans to ask his best friend to be his bestman. He plans to have either his brother-in-law or one of his brothers as his groomsman. The problem is that he hasn''t asked his best friend to be his bestman yet and he hasn''t made a decision regarding the groomsman. I''ve told him that he shouldn''t feel obligated to pick just one groomsman, unless he wants things even, because it doesn''t matter to me in the least whether things are even or not.
Honestly, I''m concerned it will be a repeat of his brother''s wedding. His brother asked FI and FI''s other brother via email to be his ushers one month before the wedding, and asked me and FI''s brother-in-law via email to be readers one week before the wedding.
I realize we have some time until the wedding, but I really want to make sure that this gets taken care of earlier rather than later. Any suggestions?
