i am a noob but have been lurking for a few weeks, so hopefully i''m doing things semi-right. I must say this is my first post on any forum, ever, so i hope it goes well.
i wanted to ask if anyone has ideas about how to protect a very low bezel ering from damage when next to a wedding band without soldering them together (so i can take the ering off and wear the band alone). we would like to keep the diamond in the original setting but i was thinking perhaps we could add some kind of buffer to the bezel to keep the band from wearing it down. ideas?
My ering is the HOF solitude ring (used to be caprice). This is not a direct link but will have to do until i figure out the best way to post a photo:
http://www.hearts-on-fire.com/jewelry2.php - go to classics -> by collection -> solitude, click on 3-d view for the ring and you will see what i mean - the bezel (and diamond) are completely exposed if worn beside another ring.
