How to quote?

Duh...uh...I think it''s designed to be intuitive, but I''m not getting the design concept. How are you supposed to designate selected text from an earlier post (that''s not the first one) to quote, so it is in the blue box, shown as a a quote. I can''t believe the workarounds I''ve used are what''s intended.

You have to hit the reply button on the post that you want to quote (not just any post in the thread). Then when the reply screen comes up you''ll see on the left two buttoms -- one for "Attach File" and one for "Quote". Hit the Quote button and the post you''re quoting will appear in the blue box in the reply area.

Did that make sense/answer your question?

Glad to be of help. Also, you can also edit what''s in the blue box, in case what you''re quoting is long and you only want to quote a portion of it.
