I am dying! He has my ring!!

Ok. So we got my diamond from WF (1.3 ACA H&A!) a couple of weeks ago. Last week we picked out my setting at a B&M in town. They set it, and he picked it up on Tuesday of last week. MY RING IS IN MY HOUSE!!! And he won''t give it to me. I am dying.

He didn''t like that I was so involved in the process, because he wants it to be a surprise. I understand that, but I am a complete control freak- so i couldn''t let him pick it out himself. So, basically i think he is trying to wait a while in the hopes that i will forget about it, so it can be a surprise. yeah right. It is the only thing i can think about. I am completely obsessed. I cannot wait for him to propose. I get to be a fiancee!

I have to admit that i have been setting up romantic events for us, so that he might change his mind and do it now. (Fires, candles, romantic music) Apparently i wasn''t very suave, cause he caught me

I am thinking it might be weeks or months. How am i going to make it?? Help me girls!

My ring has been done and paid for for a week and a half, it had to get sent out of state to his parents and as far as I know it is still sitting there or in transit back here! Be glad that yours is in the house atleast it could happen any second!

Thanks ladies! It''s nice to have people that understand how nerve-wracking it is to wait. When i have talked to my (real life) friends they seem to think I am just wanting the ring, but it''s not that. Of course i want the ring, cause it is the most beautiful ring ever

, but it is more than that. It is about what the ring means! Everybody send out good vibes, and maybe it will happen soon

Yes, my puppy is a maltese. He is the cutest doggie ever. He is almost 8 months old, and his name is Pez. He is mad at me today cause i took him to the doggie spa

I''m half way into week 11 of the ring being in the house. I was fine until the end of week 8, and then I had a slight break down

At least I have a deadline of May 16 (our anniversary) at the latest. I''ve been counting down the days!

Today he brought me home a kanji workbook to keep me busy

I did say I wanted to start taking japanese classes again but I would think something sparkly would help hold me over better

I''m pretty close to doing the same. I know where the ring is, and it was my choice to not look at it until he proposed. But he doesn''t care, he told me I could take it now if I wanted but he''s not proposing until he''s ready

Sometimes I pick up the box and seriously consider putting that thing on

I feel your pain! You are doing great by coming here and venting. I always like to think about what Angela1977 said -- you will never have this time of anticipation again, so enjoy it! You will never be ''pre-engaged'' again!

I am 99% sure my boyfriend has my ring somewhere in his house, we picked it out over a month ago, and now I am just waiting patiently for him to knock me off my feet!!! You can wait! Just think how fun it will be when he surprises you.

I love maltese puppies, we had a maltese/poodle mix growing up, and he was the best dog ever.
