I can''t figure out the reader ... how do I get the pics from dig cam to computer?

Ok ...

This reader came with a disc ... I downloaded it. (IOGEAR universal memory bank hi-speed usb 2.0 memory card reader.)

I turned off my computer and then attaced the hi capacity usb cord to the reader, then attached it to the computer, turned on the computer... waited for it to do all of it''s loading just like the little piece of paper stated, and then put in the SD memory card in the appropriate slot ... then it states to go to "My computer" ... ok, so what do I do once I go to "My computer?"

I need to figure out how to get my pics onto the computer, and then find them, so I can share them.

your ''my computer'' should have a ''usb drive'' or something connected to it. not the C drive, but maybe E or F?

then you''d probably just double click on it to open it and then the pictures should be there.

my camera just has a usb cable that i connect to my computer and then it downloads the pictures for me. i don''t have a reader.

PriceScope needs to add a whole digital photography tutorial to the site since the purchase of a digital camera is mandatory with new diamonds!

We have a digital camera, but I haven''t used it as I continued to use my 35mm Canon UNTIL one of our trips in July, the camera broke!!! So now I am forced to get myself a new digital camera since the one we have is probably outdated now. But I feel like I need a whole course in what to buy and how to use it!

I understand about the batteries, but which charger did you nuy? Does it matter which one?

I now understand about the card reader, too. But using any of it will be a challenge!

I bought the Powerex MH-C204W. It has an intragrated worldwide AC power supply, microprocessor driven intelligent rapid charger, you can charge in one, two hours depending ... it has trickle charge, also can discharge and condition/rejuvenate batteries. Go to the steve's dig-cam web site and look up batteries etc ... they list different ones, and will tell you what they do.
