My SO has been asking me all kinds of weird questions about my work schedule. I work at a child development center and can sometimes work weird hours to work with parents schedules . Also my so and i are long distance he lives about 3 hours away and i still live with my parents. I have a sneaking suspicion that he is trying to catch my father at home while i am at work to ask daddy a certain question. SO thinks he is slick and i dont see what he is doing. This could possibly be exciting. I dont want to get my hopes up too high though !

Hey, you never know!

We were having a cookout at my parents house, when my fiance pulled my dad aside to ask for his blessing. He then pulled my mom aside separately and I actually walked in on them while they were talking! They asked me to leave, and I was like "Oh my gosh! He is asking them!!!"
My fiance and mom came up with a bogus story to throw me off the trail and I believed them, never thought twice about it after that.

After he proposed I found out that I really had walked in while he was asking for her blessing!
