Just look at his little bed ha ha ha ha. He has the leaves for blankies to keep him warm. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!

He took a bite of the tomato but wouldn't eat more (he looks upset, lol). I guess I just have to work at it; I do have a dish of water for him too.

In this pic he ate a strawberry too, you can see a little red mouth.

This is his bed; he can go further down the hole and he throws the leaves over himself. hehe

All spring/summer I have been buying the big pack of strawberries from Costco so he gets to reap the benefits of his momma buying strawberries. hehe

Oh Skippy, I missed the updates. I am so glad he keeps coming back for you!! He is just the cutest thing ever and you are the best turtle Momma ever! If you keep feeding him like you do he is going to grow into one huge turtle. Mine has gotten so big that he really needs a new tank now. Does he have an area where he can soak in water? Even though they are land turtles they still like a good soak every day. We have a filter on the water side of our turtle''s tank that the water comes out of the top like a shower. Ours sits under that shower for hours at a time.

He is sooo cute! I just found this thread today.
Just wanted to say not to feed him asparagus. My friend fed her backyard turtle some, and she ended up with a big vet bill since it was allergic. Don''t want anything to happen to the little cutie!
