Thanks! I got the lab pendant from my old job at an imports store. I don''t have a ton of info on it, just that it''s labradorite set in .925 sterling. And it''s wicked cool, LOL.Date: 1/5/2009 9:12:31 PM

What a cool find! What color labradorite is that? It''s beautiful! I have never seen that color. I''ve only seen the yellow and red ones. Labradorite is definitely on my wishlist.

So pretty! Finding stuff is the best - its like all the excitement of getting new stuff, plus the happy memories usually associated with it, minus the pain of having to payHmm...maybe I could talk my hubby into helping me ''find'' all kinds of things
I'm having a blast! I found one more, and this has a sweet story. It's a mother of pearl earring from Hawaii that my dad wore as a tie tack. He got it on my parent's honeymoon. When I was a little girl, I got to pick my dad's tie tacks - and this was one of my favorites. My father passed away when I was 12, and my husband wore the tie tack on his shirt when we got married, in Hawaii.Date: 1/5/2009 10:03:28 PM

I absolutely agree, AG! Geckodani's thread had me at 'buried treasures'. I was like, Ooooh!!! Buried treasures!! I LOVE the concept of finding anything sparkly, like buried treasures, or panning for gold, or digging for diamonds, or diving for pearls...or.....okay, I'll stop. LOL
Hmmm...let me see what I kind find in my dustry jewelry box

Awww...GD....I''m trying not to cry. What a sweet and sentimental story! I''m sorry about your Dad''s passing. But what a wonderful gift to give to your husband on your wedding day.
Please take good care of that earring, and don''t lose it. THAT is the true gem in your collection. Those memories are priceless.
LOL.... I have more....Date: 1/6/2009 6:02:31 AM

Neat! I love 'shopping in my closet' or jewelery box in this case!
The Labradorite is beautiful, I'm on the hunt for a piece myself but it suddenly got popular and prices have skyrocketed. Yours is lovely and looks like it has a nice bright character to it.
Enjoy your new finds!
I found a lone peridot and amethyst that are missing their mates, lol. But at least I have the 3! And they are fun!Date: 1/6/2009 4:28:55 AM

Great buried treasures! I wouldn''t mind having a collection of different coloured stud earrings, and the little pineapple is soo cute!
What an awesome story! All your treasures are very cool, but the pineapple is my favorite!Date: 1/5/2009 10:24:58 PM
