I GOT CAUGHT posting on Pricescope! Do your SO''s know you post?

LOL. My bf knows I''m on the site. Sometimes if he''s sitting next to me, he''ll stick his head in to see what I''m reading/writing.

That is exactly what my son said to me when he bought my laptop and iphone. Sometimes I fall asleep on the couch on PS with my hand on the mouse. He is glad I am learning all about diamonds for his future bride whomever she may be.
 
Funny. Yes, DH knows I am on here CONSTANTLY, and yes, he does know my screen name. However, I have no idea if he comes here and checks out my posts....

Yeah, I''ve been starting a lot of conversations with him lately with ''this person on pricescope'' or, ''I saw on pricescope''. He knows, but he doesn''t come on to see. I just show him stuff from time to time.

Ditto! Although, my husband does tease me about how much time I spend on here.

Same here.

Thought he does complain sometimes when I am on PS and he wants us to watch TV together. I prefer PS to TV. He doesn''t mind when there are sports on though.

I have sworn him never to lurk and see what goes on here. I don''t think he does but I guess you never know.

Dreamer- my husband always is asking me if ill just get off the computer! Now that I have my droid phone, I''m always able to lurk, so he asks to put the phone down.
He knows all about it and thinks its funny. He has his online fantasty football, and I have my online fantasy diamonds!

I was posting pics of our bathroom renovation on facebook the other day since a friend asked to see the bathroom in progress and he thought I was putting them up here. He says, "are you seriously posting our bathroom on that website?? Why do they want to see that, I thought it was only diamonds and stuff."

And just yesterday he says in front of our engaged friends, "hey kate, have you told (insert womans name) about that one wedding website and diamond thing you''re always on?"

He certainly know about the site- it''s in my favourites and he sees me on it all the time. I don''t know if he knows that I actually post. I haven''t hidden it, I just haven''t made a point of saying it. He may or may not have noticed. All he cares about is that it doesn''t lead to another upgrade or reset! If he sees me in SMTR he says "Still like yours?" and as long as the answer is ''Love it!" he''s happy.
 
DH knows I post. At first he didn''t like it, because I was a bit unsatisfied with my ring (which I designed!) and he thought it was because I was looking at too many rings on PS. Now he realizes I just come here to chat.

I don''t think he knows the actual name (I just call it PS) but he would recognize my screenname if he ever wanted to search for it.
 
DH has no room to talk! He has his own forums, and he knows I have this forum.
 
my DH says I am on the ministry of the Diamond Boursa, he used to call me the Minister of Information, gathering information from news websites and communicating to him, but now it''s the PS diamond boursa, diamond news like cable TV, 24/7.
 
DH knows, which is why I changed my screen name! My other name was too common and known (at least for me) and DH and I were going through a really bad time in our marriage. I wanted to give myself a fresh start in both our commitment to each other and just my general attitude. I don''t know if he ever peeks here but hopefully all my rants are much much older posts that he wouldn''t stumble on

DH sure knows that I post here frequently. Its my new hobby (well for the last year and half anyways) When he sees me update the eyecandy folder, he ask what that setting is called and what size is the diamond...lol (I don''t think he cares too much, but he knows how excited I get to share info)
 
I''m a member of two forums: PS and one for pregnancy/babies.

He knows about both but we don''t ever really talk about it and I don''t show him links. For some reason he thinks PS is my blog and always asks if I''m making an entry in my blog when he sees it open. He never mentions the mom board unless he''s wondering something or we''re trying to figure something out. Then he''ll say "ask your mom friends"

He''s more aware of the other board. You can have your signature be any pic you want and most put pics of their child/ren. For some reason, he thinks every child is Sophia. Sometimes he''ll sit by me to look at pics of babies and our conversation is almost always:

Him: Is that Sophia?
Me: No, that''s a boy.
Him: Oh...is that Sophia?
Me: No, that would be another boy.
Him: Oh...is that Sophia?
Me: Well, that is a girl but she''s blonde so no.

He doesn''t really get boards and often thinks I''m the only one on it lol
 
My FI was actually the one who got me to start posting! He lurked first to learn more about diamonds before making the big purchase. After the proposal and he knew I knew about PS, he asked me if I wanted to post pics of my ring and pretty much gave me the green light to delurk! He''s very accepting of my PS obsession since he has his own favorite forums!

BF totally knows about Pricescope. He always seems to pay attention to what I''m doing when I try to respond to a thread, so I don''t post much about him. He has his own message board that he goes to, so it''s no big deal that I go to one.

I really enjoy telling him about things that come up on pricescope, or showing him something gorgeous! I also can''t help but show him pictures of the beautiful weddings and super cute babies!!!
 
lol, FI probably has some idea, but I do actively hide it from him. Now it''s out of habit, but before we were engaged, I didn''t want him snooping in what I was saying around the board. Ironically, I''m typing this in a private browser, which I usually do. Once I close the browser, no history is kept and no cookies

I did have to ''fess up to my sister though, because she thought I was obsessed with diamonds and engagement, but really, I was stalking the ATW thread during election season. I still really miss that, it was my favorite place on PS.

LOL! My DH knows I post and no problem whatsoever. I even showed him when I did a thread in SMTR for my e-ring to give him a boost and show him all the positive comments about my reset! Its been a very good thing.
However I do find myself saying "I saw on Pricescope" or "the girls on Pricescope" its kinda scary really. lol

But he loves gems of all kinds so he doesn't mind.... too much.
 
He knows about this website and that I post but he doesn''t know the name it. He finds some of the threads here hilarious so he doesn''t mind occasionally hearing about it.
 
Oh, he knows. I actually changed my avatar so that it wasn''t one of my pets, in the hopes he wouldn''t recognize is he lurked. But I actually kind of hope that when he *eventually* does decide to propose, he''ll look and see what I like, since I don''t think he''ll ask me.

The one thing I''m careful of, and it sounds like this might be an issue for your SO, too, is not to let him feel like I talk about us on here, as that would bother him. I''m happy other people can do it, though!

DH got me started on PS...actually, the first pic of me ever posted on PS was posted by DH of me right before he proposed. I got into it after the proposal when I was wedding planning; prior to then, I had been banned because he didn''t want me to know what he was contemplating proposing to me with! Now that I think about it, I think my father recommended PS to my hubby, although I don''t know if Dad posts, too, or if he just lurks.
 
My husband doesn''t "get it" but he knows I''m on here. He just asks that I not post actual photos of us or our home.
 
He knows. He calls it my jewelry site. He makes this weird mad scientist face and wiggles his fingers like he''s typing 100mph on the keyboard..he calls it "jackie-ing" b/c there was an episode of Roseanne where Jackie got a computer and stayed on it for like 3 days straight and then couldn''t stand when she finally got up.
