I HATE WAITING!!! but it is nice at the same time :)

okay so on top of waiting for my engagement ring, which is currently in the stage of the diamond in one box and the setting in the other, both hidden somewhere in the apartment so I cannot see them and which I will not get til probably this fall or winter, i now have to wait for my BIRTHDAY present as well which is in July.

on top of this i cant share this with anyone but you guys.

we went to Chicago on Tuesday to drop people at the airport and ended up walking around michigan avenue, and stopped at the Lego store, where my boyfriend badly wanted of all things this lego train set thing that is powered electrically, so I told him I would buy it for him for his birthday, so I did. His birthday is middle of July. Then we were walking further along and he goes, "well, now we should go get your birthday present at Tiffanys" to which I was like "ARE YOU SERIOUS" because i have never had anything from there before and he has just spent a lot on my engagement ring. I have been admiring the little silver Elsa Peretti starfish pendant on their site. AND NOW IT IS GOING TO BE MINE...in, um, like 40 days. the little pendant comes wrapped in special paper, in a little blue drawstring bag that says tiffany, in a little blue box with a white bow, and in a little blue shopping bag too. just having the little boxes and bags is making my day right now

im so excited about it im supposed to forget what it is etc. At least now i can wait for this and occupy my head with it instead of waiting for my e-ring since that comes who knows when but there is a concrete date when i can get my pendant which is July 28.

earlier he was saying i don''t get anything for my birthday because i am getting my e-ring soon and he spent so much on that, which was fine with me, but now that he got me this i hope it doesn''t mean he wants to move the engagement even further into the future !!! I don''t think so though.

oh on top of this, did i tell you, once we got home he announced he was allowed to play with his lego set right away but i have to wait til my birthday that''s fine though because id rather have my present on my birthday rather than so way early.

I''ve been hinting around for something from Tiffany for my birthday, but I think I''ll probably have to wait until Christmas, since he just shelled out for the engagement ring. Not to mention the guy had to pay $1000 for two insurance deductibles (hail damage, then he rear-ended someone), his computer monitor blew up and had to get a new one, AND he''s got TMJ...(it''s a jaw disorder...really painful) and our insurance won''t fully cover it (and it''s about $3K for it, but he has to do it because right now he can barely eat). It''s been an expensive few months for him.

Congratulations to you though! When is your birthday in July? July babies rule (i''m one myself!!)

Angela: that sucks about the hail and rearending and especially TMJ, isnt that where your jaw clicks painfully. I have that clicking thing in my jaw but it doesn''t hurt, but when i eat people can hear it click sometimes. My birthday''s July 28 (though I think my boyfriend thinks it is the 27th all the time for some reason, so maybe i can get it early!)

Fire: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!!! June and July both rule since they start with the same two letters.

I am so happy i could post about this on here on PS, because i was really bursting to tell someone

FrouFrou...that''s funny. My birthday is the 26th, but my dad always thought it was the 27th (I guess 7/27 flows better...hehehe...that''s why YOUR BF thinks so too). My fiance thought it was the 27th for a while too, but he''s got it down (and has for a while now!).
The TMJ is awful. It started as just a clicking, and then it turned into extreme pain. I''ve seen him tear up if he accidentally opens his mouth too wide...it''s heartbreaking.

We''ll have a joint PS celebration on the 27th! hehehe.

YES, we will definately have to have a celebration on the 27th.

actually my boyfriend''s funny because he thinks everything ELSE is on the 29th...for example, we are going to his brother''s wedding in august and he thinks it is on the 29th (it is on the 26), we are going to another wedding in october and he thinks it is on the 29th (it is on the 22nd). so i dont know why he wouldn''t think my birthday was on the 29th too...its funny how guys can never seem to remember dates.

Hey FrouFrou - I love that little starfish pendant too! Congrats! i know you can hardly stand an ADDITIONAL wait. I don''t think it''s fair that he gets to play with his legos now though. He should have to wait too!

Angela - OUCH for your fiance! I have TMJ and had to have a special mouthpiece made... insurance didn''t cover it so I think it cost me $4000 for that acrylic mouthpiece... you''d think it had diamonds in it or something, maybe platinum plated... it''s not fair! It''s the most expensive piece of jewelry I own right now and I''m not even supposed to show it to people because it grosses them out. But it does really help my jaw. I actually need surgery but I''m avoiding that as long as possible.

wow-its gorgeous! I know exactly how you feel about the little blue box and bag-D got me a silver bracelet when we went to New York last January and I was so excited, especially when I saw them tying up the box with the white box-its so pretty.
