I have a definite end date!!

I pretty much new this anyway, but it was so nice to hear it come out of his mouth... We haven''t talked about it in quite a while, and honestly I wasn''t sure he was even still excited about it.

We leave for New York next Thursday, but I''m about 99% sure it''s not going to happen while we''re there. My bet is between the end of August and September. We will see!!!

There is something so lovely about knowing that there is an end date and especially when it is near, all those frustrations simply disappear , that is really fantastic and exciting news.

Thanks Indy and Deelight!! Believing it "WILL" happen is the hardest thing... but it IS amazing how having that end date, seems to ease just about everything.

Ohh, and FYI, for any other anxious L'sIW, I didn't ask him for a time frame, he offered up that information all on his own.

I just realized when I changed my thread title, I left out the definite end date. He told me he will not be waiting until Christmas.

Yay!!! That''s so exciting! I know exactly what you mean, you know it''ll happen, but when a timeline actually comes out of his mouth, it sounds soooo good!

I recently got the same enddate! We were talking about how busy this fall semester would be for us, and then I mentioned I couldn''t wait until Christmas break when we had a couple of weeks to hang with family and he said "And by that time, you will have something sparkly on your left hand to enjoy..."

My guess is October for me, sounds like our wait is lessening!!!!

MERESAL-WOO HOO!!! I got the same thing from FI before he proposed-he promised it would be before our vacation and it was!!!

Some people don''t get that though and I got a "OH-didn''t you give him an ultimatum?" from someone in my Master''s class after he proposed-

ummm NO but thanks...

Of course, glad I could somehow "help."

Why October? He mentioned the first week of July that nothing would happen for two months, and I am pretty sure he''s waiting to purchase the ring until September, because of money issues. I know he''s saving up from his summer job (he''s a clerk at a law firm) so I''m thinking he''ll buy it then. I don''t know why I think October, just cause the fall is my favorite time of year and football saturdays in Ann Arbor, MI are my favorite thing in the world. I can see him doing it then. Also, I''m running a half marathon mid-October, and have fall break in there, too, so....some opportunities!

And November is getting way too close to exams and Thanksgiving, as he starts reviewing a good six weeks before finals, so I think he would want it done by then.

Unless he totally surprises me and does it early (which I doubt) I am thinking October....

Of course, you all will be updated as soon as it happens!

I wish i could get the same answer from my boyf. To bad the "good" (to some) times to propose are all around christmas anways (my bday is in december). ohh well. there is always october (anny)

That would be neat, but I''m not even fathoming the idea. This trip is kind of all about his brother, so I don''t think he would do anything to detract from his brothers experience.
