Come on. . .i know there are a lot of women in here (not to knock the guys or anything), but I have a "feeling." you know. . .one of those womanly gut-feelings? I honestly think he has the ring. And by the way he and my parents are acting. . .i don''t think my wait is going to be much longer. *sigh *

I''m nervous. . . .

I feel kind of bad because i''ve been on here a week and now this could be my time. But i want you all to know that i "lurked" for over 6 months and the first time we went ring shopping was a year ago. . .so i''ve had my share of waiting too.

I don''t know why i mentioned that. . .but i guess i just feel bad because i''m a newbie and now i might be taking the center stage soon.

Anyways. . .for all the people who have responded to me since i joined. . . thank you a million. you''ve calmed me so much.

Pear, don''t feel bad at all...everyone has their time, whether it comes sooner or later (in their experience!) I remember all my friends getting engaged before me, which made me feel a little jealous, but then when I got engaged I had made new friends, and I felt bad for THEM! It''s all relative, dear. Don''t let any of those thoughts take away from your happiness.

I hope for any girl who''s a LIW that her intuitive feelings come true. Some humans, including, and mostly, women, are more in tune with those feelings than others. So you''re probably on the right wavelength. I''ll be interested to hear more from you, as will others, in your journey from LIW to upgradeland, lol!

I lurked for awhile too w/out logging in. Everyone gets their 15 minutes of fame here(or more) don''t worry. We are all equals here. That''s what I love about these ''peeps''

We will ''oohh'' and ''aahh'' as much over a diamond spec as we do a big honker!!! We don''t care, as long as it''s jewelry. And it is such a great support system. You can voice concerns you wouldn''t normally say aloud. You can show off when normally you wouldn''t. You can discuss anything from politics to celebrities(though discussions tend to get heated at times) I think your 6th sense may be on the money. You know how us ladies are. We can sniff out a diamond like a bird dog

Don''t worry that you''re new. Jump right in. I did, and it''s like I''ve been here forever. I''ve been recuperating from an injury and this forum has been priceless to me. I''m about to return to work and all I''ve thought about all weekend is ''sniffle, I can''t be on PS all day
