Hi Folks!!!!!!!

I need help on how I should set this baby! Been looking for one for a while. This is a pretty hardy stone right?

Will add more seperate posts! 24301164_1543079512478024_6386661619418355054_n.jpg

Here is a video of the stone

So I am thinking of something like this but in rose gold.

Do you think the rose gold would go? I am thinking the pink would be nice with the greeny yellowy tones.

Or do you think it would clash?

Open to any suggestions guys! Preferably with pics!

It will be beautiful in that design in rose gold!

I think it would look good together. That is a gorgeous chrysoberyl! It’s a very nice size too.

Aww thanks! I have been looking for one for a while and there was a nice 1.5ish carat one that I didn't buy because I was hoping for something a bit bigger.

The measurements for this stone are: 10.08 x 7.20 x 5.55 mm.

I am so pleased I managed to nab it quickly!

Why don't you wait till you get the stone in hand and then place it on white gold and rose gold to decide which you prefer?

Looks like a lovely chryso!

I have some chrysoberyl in rose gold and it brings out the green more, although I'm not as excited about chrysoberyl in that color metal. I really like yellow or green gold for these stones.

Pretty please could you post a pic of it for me?

That stone looks beautiful! Stunningly cut. In the video it looks a bit more yellow than in the still photo. You may have to decide on gold color once you have the stone in hand.

Here's a close up. It's a side stone in this ring. The coppery color kind of looks "dirty" next to the bright lemon/lime color of the stone. It's hard to describe. When you get your stone, place it on a shiny copper penny and see how you like it. Rose gold contains copper to make it pink.

I like it in that pic!

Ok this is probably sketchy but I looked up peridot rings in rose gold vs yellow gold and my 5yo picked out the rose gold!

Still plenty of time to think because I'm not ready to build the ring yet!

THat stone looks great! Thanks for posting
