I just wanna say -- the random comments thread

I've been thinking about Kaleigh all weekend and praying for her strength and perseverance. This is one of those times when I really wish I could do something real to help.

VR - I cleaned my car to prep for trade in.... my steering wheel was FILTHY. It grossed me out in a huge huge way. I touch that every day. Ewwwwww

I just wanted to say "thank you" to all of our talented bakers who have contributed to the Cupcake thread in FH&H. Whenever I need to smile, that's right where I go. The pages and pages of beautiful confections blows my mind! It's a real pick-me-up.
 
My friend C bought me a pillow to use specifically to throw at the light switch in my room when I've had too much to drink and it takes too much energy to get up and turn the light off. I laughed so hard when I found that out that I had tears in my eyes.
 
Glad to see you back, Katamari! I hope you're feeling well. I hope you're enjoying your new city and the new job too.

Having lunch w/London at school today and staying for recess. I went to pick her up from school the other day and was swinging while I waited for her. Boy I got some looks from kids. Nobody would swing next to me. Hmph.

Loving my workouts every day. They're hard and kick my butt like nothing before but oh I love it.

I hate trying to find costume jewelry, but I really need something for this event on Saturday and I have no idea where to look.
 
Grrr...I am mad at FRANCE this morning. I just found out that after 11 weeks of not seeing him, my fiance won't be home on Friday as anticipated. This is all because FRANCE won't have any public transportation working tomorrow.

I gave notice at my job on Monday. My last day is Oct 29. It's a relief. I have no quality of life these days. I'm stuck on my 136th flight of the year right now. It was delayed and now I get to go home and sleep a few hours before my 730 am flight tomorrow. I can't wait to get my life back.

My guy friend was saying the same thing after his mom, sister and girlfriend stayed with him last weekend. He was a little shocked and almost in awe.

I'm so happy for you, April! I know you've had a rough time with your job lately, and it's totally not worth staying in a job that's making you miserable. I was in that position last fall and it was like a huge weight was lifted off me when I gave my notice and then left soon after. I hope you're able to take some time to regroup after leaving. Do you know what you'd like to do next?
 
I'm looking forward to tonight's premiere episode of Grey's Anatomy, and to think I didn't watch a minute of TV for ten years before last year.
