Princess - If you have ANY WAY of doing so, you should visit the royal stables in Dubai. Oh... my....gawd the gorgeous arabian horses they have.


My favorite restaurant is closing tomorrow. Tonight and tomorrow will be my last times getting to eat there. I am SO SAD! It is locally owned, and the owner cooks. They have such scrumptious things as fried green tomatoes, lobster bisque, pot pie (soup style), clams in the shell, seafood diablo, alligator chili!!!, and they have the best burgers in town. I am seriously thinking of asking the owner if I can come visit him just for his cooking. Unfortunately it is not a busy area, in a smaller town outside of town. I'm just so sad I won't be able to go eat and enjoy their local and friendly atmosphere anymore.

This morning I woke up crying. I had a dream about the break up. I wasn't crying because the ex and I broke up, though. I was crying because I couldn't hang out with my friend H because he's been friends with my ex since they were kids and so he didn't think we could be friends anymore.

My thoughts are all over the place today.

I was getting tea and a bagel this moring and after I had been given my change and my things, I was putting the change in my wallet. I was still at the counter doing this. The woman behind the counter couldn't wait til I left to address the woman behind me. The woman behind me then proceeded to nudge me out of the way. All because she couldn't wait the 2 SECONDS til I put my money away. Sometimes it's the simplest things that make me happy, and other times, it's the simplest things that piss me off.

Today was a day I needed to come home and get a cocktail in me asap. I dealt with a frustrating family who showed up 2 hours late (and I couldn't leave until they came) only to find out they didn't actually have means to pay for their mother in law to stay in the nursing home. I mean, honestly? And they acted as tho it was my fault they didn't know...they told ME they were private pay! Grrrrrrrrr!
