Dumb stuff, too. Stuff that really shouldn''t bother me. Like this - one of my patients - I had to have him change for my exam - just asked him to take off his jeans and put on a pair of shorts. Should take a minute, right? No. 5 minutes later - he still wasn''t ready. Said that he was still putting his SOCKS back on!!!!??????

Who takes their socks off to put on shorts????????????????? Am I missing something??

Lol I had a friend who was a nurse (back in school for her RN right now) but we always knew what day they announced flu shots at the nursing homes lol, it was her least favorite time of year because there would be about 100 old people (between 80 and 90 I think) in any given hour of that day lined up at her desk, she had some pretty funny stories too though

You ever see the episode of The Office where Jim and Pam get married? Kevin talks about needing to go to the bathroom, and not wanting to because it takes so long. He says something along the lines of, "Zipping the pants is easy. It''s getting the tie back on...." I always thought that was a joke.... Who knew there are people that would take that seriously?

Well I mentioned to the friend''s mom I was concerned about her drinking (since her daughter never drinks at all as far as she is concerned

) and found out that a whole barrel full of lies had been told about me to cover up her drinking. After almost 5 years of her acting this way I finally was able to say "You told me to tell you if I ever thought you had a drinking problem and here I am telling you now" I feel the hugest burden being lifted off my chest. I''m sure she won''t want to be friends with me anymore, I really don''t know, but what I do hope is that she maybe takes a good look at herself and sees how she is making others around her feel and that alcohol isn''t the answer to life''s problems.

P.S. I also LOVE the office. And DH got an offer for a new job..so he might be switching jobs. I am very thankful he has a job (please understand I am not being a whiny selfish person I know there are many people on PS alone without jobs right now), but seriously these salary negotiations made me so stressed the past like 3 weeks I've been physically ill. It tested my patience, negotiating skills when it involves my money, my math skills (for one insurance costs more at the new company like 2x what we pay), and my stress management skills. I believe this also contributes to my headache I have right now. Blegh. That is all.

I must admit I've thought that (and was wrong so far), but never talked about that AT a wedding. I feel bad enough that I even went to a wedding thinking that, you shouldn't go to wedding if you don't support the couple - that's just not classy.

OMG, today I finally experienced first hand why people hate jury service.

I was "on-call" all week. I called every evening and have been juggling my work load not knowing if I''m gonna be there the next day.

Then, last night, I was finally told to go into today. This is how it went:

Check-in, wait.
Get called upstairs to a courtroom, wait.
Get told the trial isn''t going forward, wait.
Go back downstairs, wait.

After waiting half a day, we''re told to go home.

I actually wanted to get on a jury to see what''s it like but MAN, I understand why people moan about the process.
