I passed my CompTIA Security + certification today. I am on my way out of dentistry and into the world of cybersecurity and I am just thrilled about the challenges ahead.

So much good news right on the verge of being official! One of our long multi year miserable things looks like it is DONE. Will know for sure by Friday. DH has been miserable on his current project so just got offered a different one at an awesome company. Waiting for official paperwork. This new position is fully remote except one week of training in person. If I can find a suitable house sitter, we will go together making it the first real vacation we have ever taken together! Hoping to settle most/all of these in the next few days. Tentatively very excited!

The campground was a large meadow ringed by the beach on one side, and gentle hills elsewhere. We weren’t alone, we were just on one edge of the meadow near a perimeter fence - but that was OK. We enjoyed chatting with the folks tenting on either side of us. When midnight rolled around sweetie was fast asleep but I was wide awake, so I decided to check out the midnight Sun from the beach. I was surprised to find at least a dozen others on the beach and hillside! Most were just quietly enjoying the sight, alone or with a loved one. It was really quite lovely!

The multi year misery is OVER!!! I'll pick the thing up from our attorney on Wednesday.

Now.... Just have to finish setting up a guest room, tidy the house, get confirmation of house sitter, and go off on the next (tentatively awesome) adventure! Worst case is I have to stay home and DH flies over for kickoff event and comes home. Best case is we have a great road trip together.
 
Came home from work and DH tells me he got me something:

Me: “Is it paper plates?”

Him: “Yes, and napkins”

That my friends is true romance :lol-2:
 
@stracci2000, sadly not but still pretty decent ones. He had a meeting today at work and he knows how excited I get when he brings home the leftover paper goods.

I’m like a sad dog just happy to get whatever scraps I can lol!
