One of the things I love and completely admire about my BF''s family is how happy they are with life. They picked the life they wanted, they''re living it, and they''re just genuinely happy, wonderful people. So my BF told me today what their wedding day was like, and it just stunned me. It''s so perfectly them and sweet that it made me smile so I had to share. (Keep in mind that they''re basically aging hippies, lol.)
They came home from work, he changed from his overalls into pants and a shirt (that BF says he might still own/wear) and walked into the cow pasture next door. The minister was a friend, and his wife and a mutual friend were the witnesses. No big hoopla, just them in the place they love, getting married.
The funniest part of this (to me) is that in one of my "I don''t want to work so I''m going to daydream about weddings" mood I thought that the pasture would be a beautiful place to get married. Great view of the mountains, green green grass, it''s just stunning. Too bad about all the cow @#*$, though.
