Perhaps I''m getting my hopes up, but a lil dust & positive thoughts never hurt anyone...

Tonight FF & I are going to a concert (Kings of Leon, anyone?). He gave me the tickets for my b-day this September. They''re, like, totally one of my FAAAVE bands (note: read in 14yo girl''s boy-band-crazed voice.)

He''s picking me up right when class ends (2:30) & we''re headed downtown early to get some food & have some beers... Concert starts at 6.

IDK: Crazier things have happened, right?

Either way, i''m hoping for a great evening!

Update!

Concert was OK. We were riiight up front. There were, maybe, two people in front of us. BUT: everyone was pushing against us. Lots of drunk, sweaty people. FF was getting pretty defensive, and at one point I was close to tears (there was a HUUUGE jerk that got kicked out. Long story) But alas- the must was pretty good and it''s just the nature of concert going. We decided that for future shows, we''re only going to venues with SEATING

No ring. But that''s okay I''m actually thinking it may happen Saturday?? On the light rail home I was staring blankly at my left hand (really, looking @ my nails) and murmered, "This was a good night." And FF started cracking up... He said it looked like I was staring at my ring-less finger and being completely sarcastic- which wasn''t the case, lol, but it was amusing.

Alright- time for criminal law. Thanks for the dust ladies. It was a good night!!
