I guess it''s been about two years since I bought my ES Whiteflash studs and I never wear them. They are .50 TCW and just too small for my big ears and get lost in my hair. I can''t upgrade them because they are the ready set studs and I can''t afford larger ones right now. Ideas?

That''s a great size for sidestones for a colored stone ring!

Orrrrr....how about putting a bezel on them....orrrrrr...get some jackets!!!???

Bezel *and* dangle them? They would show up better if they were dangling maybe. Buy a third one and make a mini DBTY necklace?

Hmmmm...

Double pierce your ears and put them in the second holes?

Get jackets! Or do dangles!

Or do what I''m doing - a total reset! Can you halo them or turn them into dangles? Beware the costly reset, I''m doing one and it''s almost what I paid for the studs themselves. But I am hoping I will love them and they''ll be a staple for me! If you don''t love the look, you should reset them!

Side stones for your e-ring?

I love the dbty idea!

Little sparklers for your gorgeous little girl''s ears?

You could put them aside for a gift for your daughter...

Two toe solitaires?

Wow guys thanks for the ideas! Bliss, your dangles are going so look great ( I looked up the post). If my stones were that size I''d probably do something like that too. Lyra the DBTY idea is cute. It would be so blingy and pretty but maybe costly? It would look cool with my bezel pendant though. Side stones for a colored stone could be a practical and inexpensive idea, and I have a lot of lose colored stones already jst waiting to be set. Or some sort of halo jacket. Hmmm... I guess I have time to think about it.

Two toe solitaies, hee hee hee!! Thats such a funny image.

Send them to me?

No, I don''t know. It seems like you''ve been given great advice! Good luck.

Depending on how many colored stones you have you could have the colored stones set in dangly earring jackets and have them hang from your current studs.

3 stone pendant (w/gemstone or diamond)
3 stone ring (w/gemstone or diamond)
dangle earrings (w/gemstone, diamond or by themselves)
Jackets are a good idea too but could be expensive and perhaps might look out of proportion for a 0.25 ct stone.

Great ideas and sadly I can''t think of any more but what a fun project.

i think redoing them is cost prohibitive so i would save them for the cutie in your avatar.

I''ll take them off your hands

I like the idea of turning them into dangles best. Saving them for your daughter is a great idea, but that''s probably at least 10 years away if that''s a current photo. What would you do with them in the meantime?

That''s what I did with mine (I think they are either 20 or 25 points each, I had them redesigned with a leverback and a dangly bit. I have quite long thick hair, and they are very visible earrings. I''ll eventually be upgrading to at least 1 tcw studs.

My daughter is more then ten years away from wearing diamond studs lol. While Tabetha will be getting lots of jewelry I was thinking first diamonds at about 17 and she's only 3 :) It is a sweet idea though.
But I'd like to do something fun with them now. I'm leaning towards side stones.

I''ll ring in another vote for dangles.

You''d be surprised how much larger stones can look when they''re dangling instead of sitting on the lobe. If you really wanted to boose the presence of them dangling, have them dangle in a bezel setting.

They''d be STUNNING.

ooohh, that would look gorgeous!... so have you decided?

I love the bezel dangle idea. Or the side stones for a colored gemstone ring. I actually plan on getting those very same earrings, but wearing them in my second holes with small hoops or pearl dangles in the first. Studs look stupid in my first piercings.

I bet not.. I have funny looking earlobes myself, but I''m sporting bezel studs

I''m leaning towards three stone ring. I have a pretty good collection of colored stones so I could use one of them. I would just have to find a stock setting that works. I would do dangles if the stones were a touch larger. I''ll have to put dangles on my wish list along with diamond hoops!
