I haven''t posted in forever, but I''m so excited I''m making the time.
Work has been crazy lately and I''ve been working overtime and traveling a good bit. I try to stop in and read posts every now and then, but I haven''t posted in quite a while......so first off a huge congrats to all the recently engaged gals! Your rings are all beautiful and I''m so happy for you.
I thought my SO would have proposed a few weeks ago as we went to New Orleans (where we "become official") and his mom was here 2 weeks ago. My logic was propose in a city that has an important part in our history and then show your mom a couple weeks later. But NO....it didn''t happen. Then work got CRAZY and I''ve been super busy.....which is good in a way because I haven''t thought of engagement as much.
Well, our trip to San Diego for vacation is coming up soon....he''ll fly there for a conference on Sunday, it ends on Wed (the day I fly out) and we''re staying til Sunday. He''s been making several strange comments latey about things....like "please wait until you''re with me before you go to the beach" (when I travel for work I''m about 1 hr from Virginia Beach and have yet to go...hoped to go today, but no). But then he also asked me to be showered, dressed, and ready by 3pm on Saturday.......so I''m wondering if he''s trying to confuse me. Either way, it seems to be very soon and I''m super excited. Plus, I was on his computer the other day to get on the internet and his inbox had an email from Jeweler''s Mutual....he insured it without me ever mentioning insurance...yay!
BTW, I should change my name as this site got me hooked on cushions and that''s what I''ll be getting. It is a rectangular cushion that I picked out...I''ve yet to see it set though and I''m super excited. I was 95% in love with the center and then it got dropped into this setting and I was 110% sold....princess sides and 4 channel set princess stones on each side. I wanted the larger side stones to be cushions, but am unsure of what he actually chose.
Anyway....congrats again to all the recent fiances and dust to all the other LIW.
