We went to the Renault Winery today!!
And it is gorgeous there!! Wow so much history and culture, I love the vintage room and the chairs, also has a fireplace (which we wouldn''t use) but they light candles and place them in there in the off season.

I was a little disappointment with the out floor ceremony area, I thought it was be more "pictureque" but that''s okay we are both agreeing on a church ceremony anyway.

On the con side it''s a little far one hour for us on the main highway, but it''s easy to get to...
But if needed the Winery has there very own hotel with a bridal suite which is nice.
We will have to have it on a sunday unfortunately because of guest going to work, but I think we''ll have it early and schedule it to end at 8pm, this gives people a chance to get home if they can''t afford the hotel and at a reasonable time at that!!!
Also is has a real musty smell in one of the rooms, but hey it''s authentic, built 200+ years ago

I love it!!!!!!!!! very unique!!!!

Then you can go with a wine theme!!!. I''m doing some "wine" things (like using corks for placecards), etc...but you could really get creative, maybe give people wine for favors...use cool wine bottles for table numbers, or cool wine names...

It looks awesome!

here is the indoor ceremony for a rainy day. you have to walk around the wishing well, which I wasn''t thrilled about, but I think church wedding will be a lot nice and more of his culture.

yes, I will definitely give wine as favors they are alittle pricey, but you just gottah I think $4 each pp

and instead of giving the tables numbers we would do names of wine!!

and so charming,
we are huge winos (tee hee) so even though we''re not at a winery we''re using wine cork placecard holders since it''s a touch of us

It would be awesome! I''ve been collecting corks for a while so I''m going to tie 2 corks together with a little gold ribbon, slice them on top so that I can put the placercad and voila!.

I''m also not using table number, but table names...places in Spain that we love ("El Escorial, "La Alhambra", etc...with sepia toned pictures of the place in each table!). Another idea would be to find (I don''t know where) little wine barrels to use for the placecards? that would also be very cute and unique.

You whould put a wine bottle of whatever type of wine you use in each table!!.

You can give little wine bottles, maybe those are a bit cheaper, tie a ribbon with your tag, too cute!

I decided on doing a "Sangria" station, but my other idea was to have a wine tasting table (we LOVE wine, can you tell? hehe). You have different types of wines and little wine glasses so people can do a little tasting

...then have a cheese table close to it.
