. . . . . . that I have turned from being a ring ho to being a dress ho. LOL! Maybe it''s because I found my dress so soon - I can''t get enough!!! Don''t get me wrong, I absolutely love my dress and wouldn''t change it for ANYTHING, but I just love looking at all these gorgeous wedding dresses!

Is anyone else like me or am I just a weirdo? LOL.

Anyway, let''s post pics of dresses we love!!!! (Unlike the "let''s post our wedding dresses" post, this one does not have to be your particular dress but any other eyecandy dresses that we can drool over!)

No, you''re not weird--I''m the same way!!!! I bought both my dresses already for my 5/6/06 wedding (and the 2nd wedding in Slovenia on 5/13/06 that my FMIL is planning) and they are both totally different so I get the best of both worlds in a sense (sleek plus poufy). But still it''s all I can do to keep my ass out of the bridal salons trying on more gowns--b/c it''s just so fun! So, using a lot of self-control, I stick to magazines and the internet. I could look at dresses all day long.

I really love the #1 dress in gingerBcookie''s string. That poufy skirt is so dramatic and luscious. here are some others with that style.

Dodger Gurl--Did your taste change since you first started looking at gowns? Mine did a total 180--from simple sheaths in the early stages to a-line and then to frou-frou poufy, which are now all the gowns I drool over.

Well I am going to chime in on this one................. I bought my dress back in January and was happy with it............ well months later, a pound or two more, and a different feel on the type of wedding I hated it. I went in to get the alterations done unaware of this and the whole time I kept looking in the mirror thinking it was ..... TOO TIGHT!!

and all wrong so I exchanged it. Here is the first dress and I will post my new dress in the next post.

tybee- those maggies are AMAZING. I love the second one.. Its Ophelia right?

Mommy- your new dress is BEAUTIFUL. I had tried on the first dress at Davids when I went in there and I thought it made me look fat. That was the only wedding dress I tried on that I thought that about.. And I thought the front was very boring, although the back is beautiful. I think your new choice is much better!

Morticia--if you find a photo on the web and you want to attach it, you''ll first have to save it to your computer. Just right-click on the picture and it should give you a menu with an option like "Save Picture As". Save it to your desktop or whatever. Then from pricescope you click "Attach File" and browse for the picture you saved.

Like so...although I still can''t attach 2 in the same reply...

Whew! Glad to know I''m not the only dress junkie. It''s probably just because my dress hasn''t arrived yet. LOL!


selflove: No, I pretty much knew I wanted a non-poofy dress right from the beginning, because I am so small. I did try on a couple of poofy ones anyway just in case, but they just totally dwarfed me. I love looking at them though! Just not for me. :)

The dress witch, at the boutique I went to this past weekend, told me this is the number 1 selling wedding dress right now... I tried it on and did not really like it. I think this is one of those dresses that looks awesome right now, but years later, we''ll look back and wonder WTF we were thinking... Just my personal opinion. I think it looks great on other people and in the pics. It looked pretty frumpy on me.

I went and tried on dresses this weekend!
Since it was my first time out, I just tried on a variety of dresses to get a feel for what looks good on me.
It turns out that I look better in the dresses with little to no beading. This is the best one of the day, but I really don''t want a strapless dress. It sure is pretty though!

I JUST LOVE the sheer lace trains. That is still my fave part of my dress and its my fave part of this dress too!

Morticia - That first dress you posted is TO DIE FOR!! I LOVE IT! I am not a poofy bride.. Its just not me.. but those dropped waist ball gowns are just AWESOME.

I doubt i''ll be able to afford this dress, but its EXACTLY what i want for my beach wedding -- i''m wondering if i can''t buy it from Carmela Sutera if i can have something similar made, because i haven''t seen anything that looks like it! If you guys have seen something similar out there, holla back!! :)
