Boy what I would do to have this ring.
However, its from an ebay seller that absolutely refuses to accept bids from outside US - it is soooo frustrating.

She always has nice things, but this setting (and of course gorgeous vintage diamond) just blew me away

*sigh* another one to add to the "must get a reproduction list", lol..

Check out the details!

And the best bit.

Sheesh, I can''t stand stubborn ebay sellers!

okay, sympathy cry over

Do you mind if I ask who the seller is? It is beautiful!

It is so pretty; nice find.

I feel your pain. I get so angry about not being able to buy things I like because of international shipping. Sometimes I really wish I lived in the US.

arjuna, that''s a STUNNING ring!!! I feel your pain as well...

This just makes me wish I had more friends living in the US to whom I can have my things shipped!

It is pretty, the sides are fantastic!

There has got to be some type of company that helps with shipping abroad for auctions. If not, I need to draw up a business plan! I think there''s a market for it.

That really is a stunning ring...I am sorry that you are not able to work it out with the seller.

OMG TDF, love this ring. That''s too bad about the seller. The setting is just outstanding too. But thanks for sharing it with us AJ.

Hi ladies, thanks for feeling my pain!

Steel - glad I''m not the only one!
Addy, I can almost garauntee there is a market for it - you have no idea how many times I would''ve bought something had Int. not been blocked.
I''m sure even a personal shopper could arrange it for you..?

Westjenn - her seller name is: ihaveajewelryproblem.
She always has great vintage pieces, but she knows what she has, so the prices are only reasonable, not incredible or anything. But the pieces are very nice quality, as you can see.

I am going to ask my jeweller to incorporate some small carved flowers on my current project after seeing this..

She had a really nice aquamarine 3 stone a few weeks ago. I would have bought it from her but she said it was a size 8 and she didn't recommend resizing. She does have nice stuff but imo, she's a bit overpriced. However, I'm a cheapskate.

That ring is 8K you know! I doubt it's going anywhere soon.

I'm also sure that if you emailed her thru the "contact seller" link and offered to wire transfer immediately, she'd forget about the "no foreign sales" policy. Money is money.

Here''s the 3 stone btw and another one which is on Ebay where the seller is delusional but the ring is a killer

Second one

Hey tradergirl,
I agree, she is not the cheapest - but not the worst either.
I have actually emailed her a number of times asking if she will allow me to bid (blocked) - she doesn't reply

I like that aquamarine ring too, and that profile is a stunner - ha, there are many sellers on ebay who are delusional if you ask me! Like Melonypino - her prices are plain stupid.

MZ, she''s on ebay. If you go to advanced search, search by seller : ihaveajewelryproblem.

Now I know its nice if even the coloured stoners are keen!

Shop the States and equivalents will receive and repackage goods from merchants... not sure about the whole ebay side of things, but I can't see why they would be any different..?

Hi Lara,
thanks, I found a number of sites doing this,, but none with that exact name - do you have a link?
I would like to know of a reputable site to do this..

oh, and you have opened a whole ''nother world of spending for me!

Lurve it AJ!!

Beautiful!

I wish I could come up with a way to let you ship it to me and then me to you that wouldn''t require spamming my address all over the internet and you trusting a virtual stranger with an expensive purchase, LOL!

http://www.langantiques.com/

this US vendor has some very interesting rings....and i seem to remember that at one time they offered one similar to the one you''re lusting for.

i searched eBay and found your vendor: and a cab ring i really like but its 14k.

AJ-

If it's that expensive, shouldn't it be seen by an appraiser? Couldn't it be shipped to a US appraiser? Please post a link to the ring.

Never mind, AJ, I found it! Would you buy it without having an appraiser look at it? Would you buy it because you felt protected by having it on your credit card? If you would pay cash, sight unseen, I do not see the problem!

I should be on the "other" group tonight so you can email me.....

ha ha Thanks Gecko and Alexis for the kind offers..
Even if I could get through to her, I shouldn''t be buying anymore diamonds at this time, so this one is definately an 100% lust-only piece, lol

Thanks Coats, thought you''d like it!

Thanks MZ, I like to browse Langs. Is the cab ring from this same ebay seller?

Seeing as how much I liked the flowers/leaves design from this ring, I have decided to add a small flower to each side of the shank of the umbalite garnet ring I''m going to have made. (a la Van Craeynest).

Hopefully this will subdue the fire for a lil while

Hey Deb,
thanks for your interest/concern. TBH, I hadn''t given it much thought as I can''t actually buy it
7.gif

I think having it sent to an appraiser would be a good idea - but I''d still have to get around the issue of being blocked by the seller to start with..
