I went dress shopping!!

The only ones I can afford are 2 and 4, but I tried on 1 and 3 for fun and they were by far the crowd favorites.

I tried on a lot of other dresses too, but decided not to post them. I have no idea how any girl can wear a mermaid dress. SO uncomfortable. One of the dresses that came out too small up above seriously made me look about 50 lbs heavier than I really am. lol....it''s so bad. Maybe when I''m feeling daring later I''ll post it. I thought the dress was SO not me, but the lady loved it. I looked like a kielbasa!!

Dress 1 is $4300 and dress 3 is $2660....both out of my price range!!!

Dress 3 is my favorite though, for sure.

I'm hoping not to spend over $1500.

I like the first two. But for some reason... really digging the second one more on you, even though number one is more my personal taste. And I like the jim helm on you (last one)... the top of it is lovely and very flattering, I have never liked that one's skirt though. It it were an A line... it would be perfect, can they change the skirt on that one? And the third one is just blah, in my opinion.

I like 2 and 4 (that''s the jim hjelm one right? the last one...) the best. I think they are the most flattering and the prettiest dresses.

I am in the minority, but I don''t like #3. I do love #2!!! looks perfect on you!!!! I like #4 and #1 about the same.

Have you tried calling RKBridal, House of brides or Pearls place? They are usually like 50% off!. My dress was over 50% off...so you may want to try...and they delivered it 2 months before they were supposed to!!

You don''t look like a sausage or chubby arms or any of those things you put on the picture names!!! lol. You have a great shape!!!!

I don''t think number 4 is a jim hjelm. I think it was a Jim Hjelm wannabe. I can''t remember the designer. It was listed for $599!

Number 2 is a Maggie Sottero for $750!! I definitely think it looked way better in person than in the photos.

Dress 3 made me look thin...which I liked. And I also liked how simple it was.

Number 1 is by Alvina Valenta. No chance I''m getting that gown...way too expensive!!! I liked how small it made my waist look though.

#3 is most flattering, in my opinion. #2 falls a bit oddly on you...you lose that lovely hourglass figure in it. If I were in your shoes I''d be looking for the same shape of #3 if that dress is too expensive.

Paloma Blanca is a designer you should check out. She has dresses similar to both 1 and 3... and they are silk, not synthetic. And through Pearls Place or somewhere you can get them for under... lets see my budget was 1100 and they were right at budget for me. Although this was... a year ago.
