If I clean the room then.....

I thought I would share a converstation that SO and I had last night....I''ll set the scene for you...

I was doing a bit of house cleaning last night after work. We are in the middle of "late spring cleaning" so our bedroom right now has piles and piles of clothes that need to be sorted for donation (needless to say it''s a mess!!)....so anyway I was sitting on the floor doing some of the sorting...and this is what was said....

Him (walking into the bedroom): What''s going on in here?
Me: Sorting clothes for either laundry or donation.
Him: Good it''s a mess in here!
Me: Yeah...It''ll probably take me till next year to finish it.
Him: Well I''ll marry you as soon as your done.
Me: Given that incentive I''ll be done by the end of the week...Hope you have a ring

Him: You never know...(as he is walking out of the bedroom....without helping by the way)

Although I''m faily certain that my engagment is not dependent on the room being clean, it appears that I''ll be devoting all my spare time to making sure the bedroom is spotless in the shortest amount of time possible...Let''s see what he does then!!!

Maybe a maid service to help is the way to go
