...what would you want with you? Don''t think of the logistics, like "how would I have THAT on an island if I was stranded?" It just appears, okay?

Feel free to let your mind wander. Did I mention this island was in the tropics?

Let''s see, obviously I''d want my boyfriend to be with me. He would be great company and he''d protect me if needed. I''d also want my bed with me. Maybe it could be used as a raft. A few good books would also be great to have.

okay so my island would tropical and like off the coast of fiji or tahiti islands or somewhere...yummy.

i'd want my husband, lots of cute bikinis and summer clothes (and i guess a fleece and jacket or two for practicality), mosquito repellant, some sunscreen, my wedding ring set, my ultrasonic with some sort of water powered plug in, lol. i'd need a big fluffy bed with a down comforter with a canopy to protect us, ummm lots of tropical fruit and fish, an outdoor grill, patio table, a weekly drop of various chocolate desserts and donuts, a treadmill and elliptical, also water powered! lots and lots of books, sunglasses, our ipods, snorkeling equipment, a few patio umbrellas and a big tent so that we can hide when it starts to rain.

basically we'd need to be equipped to eat, sleep, entertain ourselves and have fun...rinse and repeat.

hahah I am SOOO not a camper!!! i think the last time we camped out was like in 2001 at yosemite...where you have the outdoor toilets and the bears and all that, and after that, both Greg and I were like ''umm yeah no more of this...'' but I love a tropical island with lots of luxury amenities, hahaha.

Yeah, I''m not a camper either. I''ve never camped in a tent, just in a cabin with 30 other people one summer when I was in grad school. We were in this summer program together and the first part of the program was spending a week up in the White Mountains in NH. We went hiking, climbing, repelling, etc. I''m SO not a hiker, climber, repeller, or camper, so the week wasn''t much fun for me.

I''m one of the wimpy people real campers hate. I''d be like, "you want me to pee THERE? In the woods (or an outhouse)? You''ve GOT to be kidding!"

Hmm..I''m one of those types who would be ok and not panic in this type of situation, I think I would basically want some kind of sharp object first and foremost to defend myself/kill things with, and then I think I would just like a week or two to reflect on the situation and figure out what I wanted to do, I guess that would equal mental awareness/acuteness that I would need. Other than that, I think I''d get along ok as long as I didn''t get too sunburned or die of starvation, but I don''t think I would.

In a fantasy world, I would bring along my DH, beach towels, sunscreen that would last a very long time, and our Ipods. after that i think we''d feel like we were already in heaven and wouldn''t really want to escape if there were no dangerous tribes around the island threatening to kill us.
