Hi everybody!
First of alll, I just wanted to say how great this site is (as I''m sure you already know). Not only is it informative, but everybody here is so friendly and helpful!
Anyway - here''s my background: I''ve been dating my BF for a little over a year, and we''ve been looking at rings together for the last 8 months!! I''m starting to get antsy!!
BF feels bad for getting me excited so early on in the game, and has explained he wants to find the perfect ring for the best value (in fact, he is the one who introduced me to this site). Of course, i agree and understand - but it doesn''t make it easy for me! Especially knowing he''s already contacted Mark from ERD!!! Lately, I''m getting myself all worked up every time we go out - even if it''s just for an errand. I''m all "oh my God, this could be it - he is SO going to propose!"...and then nothing. I''m pretty sure he sees the disappointment on my face when we come back from getting coffee, and all I have in my hand is really just a coffee....
I''m noticing lately that I''m getting a little frustrated with my BF (poor guy) and bringing it up daily. I feel like I''m Charlotte from Sex and The City screaming "set the date - SET THE DATE!!!!".
I''m sure you guys know how I feel....I worry that I''m stressing BF out. I don''t want him to have negative feelings towards the proposal!
So that is why I finally opened an account on here. My closest girlfriends (who are already married or don''t understand helping BF find/design their dream ring) just can''t relate. Bless their hearts for trying, but they just don''t get it like you girls do. So I know coming on here, venting to you gals and reading about similar situations (and also living vicariously through all the gorgeous pictures) helps me calm down!
