My feeling was right, we got engaged yesterday. In the afternoon we drove up to Killington Mountain, where we had a room that I had reserved at a B and B for his birthday. The place was so cute, our room had a jacuzzi as well as a fireplace. We shopped a bit, and then went out to dinner. I thought he might ask me, so I was a bit on edge, but he didn''t. After dinner, we went back to the room, and put some pillows on the floor so we could lie by the fire. We were drinking champagne, and sitting by the candlelight when he asked me. It was very sweet, and romantic, and I was so happy! He is the most special man, and I am so glad that I have found such a wonderful person I just love him!

So I have a question. We think we will be married in May or June of 2007. Is it too soon to go dress shopping? I am dying to, but I don''t know how far in advance is too far. Also everyone is asking if we''re planning. I have not really given it much thought yet. I was thinking that May would be a good time to start. Any ideas?

Not to sound alarmist or anything. But those are really popular months to get married, it''s not at all too soon to start thinking about locations since those book up early. My bf''s sister had the worst trouble finding a free weekend at the place she wanted in late August and that was a year out. (had to settle for september).

It often sounds like a dress can be one of the hardest things to find. And I''ve heard that some of them take months to order. So get cracking girl!
