That's an AWESOME diamond, Sarahbear!!! WOW!!! I'm in agreement with the many PP above- simple and understated. Let Adam show you some very simple designs to let this baby rock out of its own accord. AND -- if it were me --- I'd have double prongs on the corners - just that little extra security.

I'm excited for you - hurry up January so we can see this baby on your hand!!! A size 6 is still pretty tiny in my mind - speaking as a size 7.75/8 myself... I'm jealous of you "6"!!

ANd yes I'm definitely with you with the double claw prongs. Those will definitely be a must in the details.

Seriouly I did luck out with my DH. He is a wonderful man and far better then I ever deserve and he would love the snow!! The last 7 years we have lived in warm climates and he really misses the snow. He is trying to talk me into getting stationed in Alaska so he can go salmon fishing and camping out in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks Yenny! It should be here around the second week of January and then I will definitely do a write up on my search. I have been looking semi-seriously for about 7 months, but not seeing anything that sang to me. And then when DH gave me the go ahead to really start the search this practically dropped in my lap so I couldn't pass it up. Adam is setting it in a solitare setting for me till I figure out what I want to make for it's long term home.
