I''m finally getting it all together

I have the invites pretty much figured out...now comes the huge tasks of beginning to address them! I included a pic. At first, I really wanted to completely do a DIY invite, but I realized that it will take a lot of time, effort and in the end be more expensive. Sooo, I found a fun alternative in a print it yourself kit. After road tripping all over Iowa to get enough kits (they were suddenly discontinued the very same week I made my decision to use them, go figure), I am now taking final votes with the parents and future in-laws about how they will be worded. Then I can print, address, and hopefully be ready to mail by April! yay!

The bridesmaids are working on picking out their dresses. We are doing same color, different dress. The styles are below. What color shoes do you think? Silver? Pink? Dyed?

Funny enough, the invite kit came from Target. $30 for 50 invites/envelopes/response cards with envelopes. I thought it was a steal! You just print them yourself. At the most, I''ll have to buy a new printer cartridge. They come with the ribbon and we added the birds at the bottom because it fits with our springy/summery theme.

Now there's a big debate about the shoes. My sisters think dyed would be fun, and the other three bridesmaids (FSIL and two friends) think silver would be better because they might be able to wear silver again someday. Always fun trying to please everyone!

Putting in another vote for the silver shoes. You can always be a two pair bride! (a shout out to freke and bee*) Bring out a funky pink for the reception!

I agree with silver. Dyed really end up being a wear once and donate to charity sort of thing.
