I''m going to ask my Bridesmaids!

After being engaged for 6 months, nine more to go, I am finally going to ask my bridesmaids! I''m really excited! It took me a while to decide who was really most important to include and then the whole choosing a maid of honor thing...ugh, whole nother story. Anyway I really wanted to do something really nice and creative when I asked them. I decided to make cards and tank tops.... I am a beginner DIYer and I am also missing the bargain shopping gene, so I could have bought them for a fraction of what I spent to make them. But I am very happy with how they turned out. I bought all the paper supplies from Michaels, I ordered the tanks online from old navy and I ordered the iron on rhinestones online. Here are some pics.....Enjoy!

They''re adorable, Laura! I thought of doing the same thing, but I ordered my cards on ebay by someone willing to make them with my gals'' names on them. I also thought about doing the tank tops...where did you find the rhinestone words online??? I''ve looked everywhere and can''t find "Matron of Honor"...ugh!

Thanks Harleigh! I got them on factorydirectcraft.com. They were hard to find! The craft stores were always out of them and I couldn''t find many that I liked that didn''t cost an arm and a leg. I got 4 bridesmaids, a maid of honor and a bride for about $30....they may have had a matron of honor, can''t remember. Did you check the iron ons on ebay? They had a lot.... I just really wanted them overnighted to me so I didn''t buy them from ebay.

I bought my iron ons from ebay seller crystaldesignsus. They have a matron of honor one! They were also willing to change their packages to accomodate my bridal party (I had 2 maids of honor and 4 bridesmaids). I think it worked out to $5 each.

I''m planning on doing this for my flower girls!! They are sisters, so they''ll have fun in little matching "flower girl" hoodies
