Please show me any photos of peachy/blush colored gemstones....I''m just starting my collection and I have no idea what gemstones would fall into this category. Thank you in advance.....

I have a soft spot for Morganite. You can get this beryl in pink or peachy tones. Here is an example. Basically, it is the peach/pink version of aquamarine.

Malaya garnets would fall into this category. Also check into Imperial topaz possibly. Also sapphires can come in this type of color, like padparadscha sapphires. It depends if you are looking for a pale or light colored stone like morganite or if you are looking for a deeper color. I have seen some peach grossular garnets as well. I am sure you can find something that is the perfect color you are searching for.

An imperial topaz would be just peachy.

Ooh, don''t get me started!

Only been looking since Christmas. I''ll post a couple of my favourites.

Watch this space, got to do some re-sizing.

Here''s one of my favourites. I think it''s still available - for $90,000 last time I looked!

Chrono,

Great minds think alike!

To be fair to our would be collector, perhaps we should tell her that Imperial topaz is not widely available and very, very expensive!

This little puppy is probably my favourite. Again, still available. For a cool AUS$10,000 per carat. Let''s see for a 5.25 ct gem that''s err ....

..... too much for me, but very nice!

more blush

Ok I don''t know why those didn''t work. Check out the garnets on gemrite.com. They have padparascha (sp?) sapphires too but I think the garnets are actually prettier. I was considering buying two of these and couldn''t make up my mind. If another ps''er buys them then my mind will be made up

What about an Oregon sunstone?

I just got this one, and the color is more peach in person.

I'm partial to blush and peach colored stones. Ditto to the paler Malaya garnets, Imperial topaz, and morganite. I'm actually working on my own collection of the peachy pinks.

Have fun--can't wait to see what you get!

Don''t forget that spinel and tourmaline come in peachy pinks also.
