I''m married and back from Brazil!

Our wedding was fantastic! It was such a perfect day, even the weather cooperated and we were able to have our ceremony on the roofdeck. It was over in a flash though. Luckily, the honeymoon lasted a bit longer. It was just the best vacation either one of us ever had. Brazil is such a huge, beautiful country that of course we only scratched the surface in two weeks. Here''s some pictures, hope they''re not too big. This is a view of Rio from Corcovado, that''s where they have that huge, famous Jesus.

After sightseeing in Rio, we spent a few days in Buzios, a very pretty resort town outside of Rio. Here''s the view from our hotel room.

Then we flew all the way north to a tiny village in the sand dunes, with beautiful lagoons and beaches, Jericocoara.

The rocky beach was particularly breathtaking.

Pedra Furada, the hole in the rock. It''s really impossible to capture its beauty, at least with my little camera.

There were donkeys everywhere but this baby donkey was just so cute, he looked like a stuffed animal.

Here we are, learning to kitesurf. We didn''t get very far but the sunset was beautiful.

Alright, last one. My new hubby sandboarding. Getting all that sand in your mouth was no fun not to mention having no lift to take you back up.

Curlygirl, the ceremony was at Penthouse 15, it''s a loft space in the Garment District, a really cool place with a huge rooftop deck, where we had the ceremony.
