My husband and I upgraded for our 5th wedding anniversary.

Here are the stats...

Ring size 4.75
All are platinum

Right Hand Ring... .4, .7 and .4 all round diamonds

Wedding Band...5 .15 round diamonds channel set
Engagement Ring...GIA cert 1.81 oval g vvs2

Thanks for all of your compliments!
Well, here is some more information about the rings. The right hand ring contains 3 diamonds that are of great significance...one of the .4 round stones is from a pendant that my parents gave me as a gift for my undergraduate college graduation. I loved the pendant, but found that I was not wearing it as much as I should have. See, I am a violinist and I do not like to wear pendants that much. I like to keep the area around my neck, shoulder, collar bone etc. free. I loved the stone and wanted to do something with it!! The .7 center stone is my original round engagement stone. The other .4 stone was bought when we did the upgrade, but I like to think of it as representing my husband''s parents...I know I know...I am so sentimental!!
On to the wedding band. The five .15 round stones are from my original wedding band. Originally, I had them prong set, but my hair kept getting caught in the prongs and also, I thought that there was too much metal...that''s why I went with the channel reset. The band is much smoother, and very comfortable.
And now the honker...it is an oval, GIA 1.81, vvs2 and g color. My ring size is a 4.75, so that is why it looks a lot larger than the number.

I am going to try to post more close ups...I am new at this posting pics and also resizing...
