In search of a Mahenge Spinel

Hi all, I have been looking into Mahenge Spinel lately and wanting to get a big size one (1.5 to 2.5ct) with pretty neon color. I have searched different vendor online (AJS, etsy, africagem) but most of them seems to have sold out their mahenge spinel stock.
Do you have any suggestion on where I can look into when it comes to red pink mahenge spinel?

Tsavorite USA. They have a square cushion 1.7 red-pink Mahenge spinel. The price is way better than my first stone. You can bargain the price too.

Hey I just got an offer from a dealer offering $4,000 for a 4.13 mahenge spinel. Photo as attached.

Do you think how authentic is the stone?

Looks great for that price. I’d make the sale contingent on a cert from a reputable lab.

Yea the problem is Im not familiar with the vendor. Although he mentioned money back if fraud, but thats hard to say once the transaction is completed.

The price for this stone is so low as I have previously bought a 1.75ct mahenge spinel @3600.
Im now not sure whether my 1.75ct is overpriced or this 4.13ct is underpriced. @.@

Depending on where you bought the stone from. Some Sri Lankan dealers are selling tsavorite for very good price.

with very slight inclusions though not total eye clean.I think nowadays Srilankan gem market is flooded with African Gemstones.
