Not sure of the right forum for this so parked it here.

GIA == Microsoft
AGS == Apple
Pricescope == Linux

There are so many things that are the same its not funny at all.

Hey Storm can you explain this for the non computer geeks??

further:

GIA == Microsoft == mega corp == 800lb gorilla
AGS == Apple == lots of fanboy and fangirls == fights for air space under 800lbs
pricescope == Linux == The power of a world wide community coming together in an open manner.

GIA = Microsoft hahahaha! I''m really not a computer geek but I see where you''re totally coming from plus I''m an Apple lover.

Storm,

I''m probably the only one who finds this amusing, but I love how you''re so careful about using equality operators rather than assignment operators. (My friends tell me that I''m a nerd.)

Love the comparison, by the way.

I''d think it''d go more like:

Microsoft == (DeBeer''s && Zales && Kays && Ross-Simons && mall jewelry stores ad infinitum)
Apple == (Tiffany''s && other snooty high end overprived stores)
Unix == (Mondera && BlueNile && WhiteFlah && other online retailers)
Linux == (New York Diamond District && Fleamarkets && similar)
Pricescope == slashdot

hmmmmm

intel == debeers
unix == tiffany

Rest as in my post above.

ot: /. has really gone downhill since it went mainstream.
They actually wanted me to watch a 15 second commercial to get a day pass to the paid perks.
Like i''m going to actually watch it duh.
The min and mute buttons work just fine :}
Like I actualy see the ads anyways.....

You''re not the only one. LOL

But then again, I pretty much qualify as a nerd. You know, probably anyone who reads == as an equality operator qualifies as a nerd!
