We''re looking seriously now.
Who are some of your favorite wedding invitation vendors?
We fell in love with MelissaSue''s from mygatsby.com, but weren''t happy with the color choices in the paper we liked.
I know that I''ve asked this question before, but my eyes are now swirling from doing google searches.

We love the more contemporary looking cards.
TIA!

oh Thanks Ginger!
I think we are starting to realize that this wedding thing isi actually going to happen!

We ordered Carlson Craft invites from RSVP Unlimited at 42% off the list price. They''re scheduled to arrive on Friday--I''ll let you know how they turned out!

oh, there are so many beautiful ones to choose from!

I have to go the route of DIY b/c of the two weddings and two languages. I was going to do mine at MIchael''s, not realizing that there were other options.

However, I really like the pink hydrangea invite from Cloud Nine! Good to know there are other DIY options.

If you want to DIY, a great place is www.paperandmore.com ....I ran across it, and I''m going to DIY really simple, yet elegant, invitations. Get this: for the invitation, the RSVP card with envelope, and big inner and outer envelopes for the invite, AND address labels, it''s costing me just at $1.00 an invitation!!! Awesome, huh? And they''ll custom cut their cardstock and vellum and stuff for you for a small extra fee ($5) so you don''t have to do that yourself. I''ll post a pic of my "practice" invitation that I made with their materials later. :)

i posted this over in ginger's thread but we got ours from www.mypersonalartist.com and we loved them. She has tons of destination options that are not the typical here's the palm tree in gold type thing...and we wanted something that went with what we had in mind for how the destination wedding was in our minds. we did one of the palm tree ones in watercolor and it was stunning. you can do a DIY where you buy the items and just have to print them out or she can do it all. she also does custom things, aka in the set that we chose she did a destination 'message in a bottle' thing where the printed sticker on the outside of the bottle matched the invites etc.

we looked at what seemed like every invite site out there and i just loved her unique style and they were affordable. good luck!!

eta: these are the ones we chose:

she has variations of that one, aka one that is not tied closed and folded but rather just a square card, that one is pretty cool and was not around when we had ours done!
