I sent my invites out in 3 batches...1 very large one, 2 very small ones (like, 5 each). I was just informed by a family member that she didn''t get the invite. This was over 2 weeks ago I sent it out...and it was only going to the next state! I got an RSVP back from California to Ohio in that amount of time. I haven''t gotten it back as a wrong address either.

I haven''t gotten a TON of RSVP''s back, but a few. So now I''m FREAKING OUT that maybe the post office screwed up.

WHAT IN THE WORLD AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!!

oh no, charbie, i''m sorry to hear that. are there far too many guests to call or email them to verify?

i sent ours out in a few batches, but i believe everyone got them, there were a few lost rsvps tho and we called them to follow-up when we didn''t hear back from them

It''s unlikely the post office screwed up more than 1 or 2 times.... Wait until the RSVP date and if you haven''t heard from certain guests you can call them to see if they ever received the invite.

Did they have return addresses?

I''m messaging with my mom on facebook, haha (she messaged me first!). I''m freaking out. She sent the shower invite to the same address, and the reason my cousin''s wife even messaged me to let me know she hadn''t gotten the invite yet was because she had just gotten the shower invite.

Deep breaths. I sent out 120 invites, to 245 people. I''ve received 20 RSVP''s so far.

Did they have return addresses?

Yes. I put really nice stamps on the back with our address.

They might still get returned. We had a couple get returned, like, 3 weeks after we sent them (and to addresses I know were correct because one was FI''s brother). I wouldn''t worry about a couple going missing, though.

p.s. Are you getting married in Ohio? I saw you were a Browns fan in the football thread.

I''m feeling a bit better...but then today we heard that another guest had not yet gotten hers when she asked where to book a hotel...that info was in the invite...and she said, "Oh, I hadn''t received it." GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

And yes, I am getting married in Ohio!! Columbus to be exact! Where are you from/getting married?!

O-H! Awesome! There are a ton of beautiful venues in Columbus--and some great spots for pictures. I am not from here, but I have lived in Columbus for about 6 years now. Our reception is going to be at FI''s parents house outside of Cincinnati (our wedding ceremony is in Ecuador).

How nice! My FI is also from cinci. Please let me know what kind of places you think would be nice for pictures in columbus! I''ve been trying to think of places to go!

I think it''s unlikely that the post office screwed up more than once or twice. I don''t think they woud''ve screwed up a whole batch, it''s likely that just one got lost. Don''t worry about it!

Awesome! As far as Columbus goes, I have seen amazing pictures at Goodale Park, The Conservatory, Old Towne East, Park of Roses and even on campus (like, every guy in OH seems to get amped at the thought of pictures at the Shoe--but the Lane Ave. bridge at night looks great). I also really love pictures in the Arena District -- there is that big arch across from Nationwide and it looks great in pics. My favorite pics ever was of a friend who had hers done in the Short North and the North Market. There were really cute pictures of them sampling all the food and in all the bundles of flowers at the flower market. They were just great!
