Is Gemvara a good jewelry site? (& Is this a good price?)

I included a picture of my creation from the site Gemvara. I am completely new to buying rings so I have no clue what is a good price and what is over-priced. This ring (I fell in love with the design) is 14K gold with 2 aquamarine stones and 1 peridot. It comes to about $435 after my discount and after HST and duties & fees is about $500 total. The price includes free engraving, free shipping and 1-year warranty.

Is that price too high? Has anyone bought anything from Gemvara before? Was the quality as good as they claim? I would really like a ring that lasts LONG...

Is that the picture of the actual ring or a computer rendition?
Do you have a link to the ring to see hand shots, get information on gold weight, stone size, etc?

I would prefer to see a picture of the actual ring; I've seen too many cases where the finish on the actual ring looked nothing like the computer rendition. I think the handshot uses the actual ring? I would also make sure the bezel around the stones have open backs for ease of cleaning. Other than that, the ring looks sturdy enough. I don't know if the leaves are made rounded enough to avoid getting caught in clothing.
