I got mine in the mail yesterday and I haven''t taken it off since. Is this bad luck? I just like it so much! I even like the gap between my e-ring and the band. How do I take this thing off and not be tempted to put it back on?????

I don''t believe in bad luck. Enjoy your sneaky little chances to wear it!!

I'm putting off buying mine until the LAST safe minute, and giving it directly to FI to keep it away from me... because I know otherwise I'll wear it constantly. I think it'll be fun to save it for the wedding, though, so I want him to keep it from me!!

I wore mine every time I was alone in my apt (and over at my BFF's apt, too, actually) for about 6 mos. BFF thought it was weird and convinced DH that when we were a month out, no more ring for me. It was a good move - I took my e-ring back to the jeweler and had it re-plated and I had the w-band cleaned, and then I wore a .10 diamond birthstone ring up until the day of the wedding. Oh man did my rings feel fabulous on my wedding day! So - the short answer is wear it as much as you darn well please! But maybe take a mini-hiatus right before the big day so it still feels special :)

ETA: I haven't checked in SMTR, but are there pics?!?!

I don''t think it''s bad luck, either! I wore mine for a couple of days to make sure it was exactly what I wanted (since I only had 14 days to return/exchange).

Nah I don''t believe in bad luck. I did the same thing. Hubby had given it to me for safe keeping. I loved trying it on, never wore it out though.

Nope! It''s good to wear it around for a few days to make sure it fits and is comfy. FI did that, then didn''t want to take it off! It was very sweet. And I wore mine day and night in Peru since I didn''t want to take my diamond along (duh), but still wanted to be ''marked territory'' (heehee).

Nah, not bad luck. I did the same and am still happily married. Enjoy!

I don''t believe in bad luck. For the 2 weeks from getting the ring to getting them in the safe at the bank, I wore it at home as much as I could. When my FI was not home of course, because he believes it''s bad luck. Silly man.

Well, I know I didn''t wear it out until after we were married. I don''t see anything wrong with wearing it around home.

I wore mine for a day or two before my wedding and I have been very happily married for 15 years!

Enjoy it! It is fun seeing a wedding ring on your hand for the first time.

I don''t think it is bad luck at all but I waited (expect for quickly trying it on for size). If your FI is okay with it go for it.

lol I was wondering where this thread was. I thought I posted it in BWW, but it probably fits better here.
So, yeah. I got my ring yesterday morning and haven''t taken it off since. And then I called our cable company and pretended to be Mrs. Luckystar!!! haha. What''s wrong with me?
I definitely need to take this thing off and wait until it''s official.

p.s. No pics yet! UGH I was so excited to take pics too. Basically, we keep our camera''s battery charger plugged into a socket in our computer room......and.....it''s missing! A ghost must have taken it. And our camera is dead, so we need to go buy another charger. I''m going to go tomorrow and get one. I don''t even know if you can buy the charger separate, but we''ll see.

Maybe you can imagine it until tomorrow when I take a pic. It''s a white gold seven stone band, .41ctw, so I guess all the stones are around 6 pointers, they are all H colored, and what David (from diamonds by lauren) described as SI3. But all the stones are completely eye clean and the ring was a complete steal. I am actually very happy with what I got in an e-ring and wedding band with our budget. What else? I think the stones are shared prong...(shared pronged? share pronged?)

no it''s not bad luck.

I don''t think it''s bad luck. I didn''t "wear" mine until after I was married... but I did "try it on" an aweful lot LOL!

I don''t believe in bad luck either-I''ve tried mine on so many times!
