I like #1 & #2, but I think #3''s the most masculine---the safest choice, if that matters. I also like the driftwood piece, but only if it''s wide enough for a man''s finger.

Hey Syl, there''s this thread elsewhere on the web by auplatinumman who created a gents ring with actual copper inlay in a white gold ring. The contrast of color blew me away. Here''s a couple of sites to gander in the mean time. abey.ch/Trauringe & franzschmuck.ch & unfortunately, on this last link, I wish they showed more of Tracy Rose''s work... oh well galleryflux. I''m also attaching some pics of web finds that I thought were interesting.

How about the diamond tension set while the garnet is bezel set to the right or left side?

The one on the left caught my attention.

well,
to make things more interesting, it sounds like the demantoid that I seem to like more has a single thread inclusion in it, while the one with a little less brilliance has a stunning horsetail. see below...now what to do? How important is that full horsetail, even if it does interfere with the overall performance of the stone? I hope wink doesn''t mind that I am posting these pics to here, they are just such good shots, it is great to get others opinions on them.

I am honored my friend. Sheesh, remind me next time to clean the lint from the edge of the stone. I was so focused on the horsetail that I did not notice the lint until just now...

Wink

P.S. I was deeply touched in your confidence in me when someone above mentioned to be sure you were dealing with a jeweler who knows color and you replied that I was your only jeweler. I will endeaver to make sure you are always rewarded for your trust and kindness!

WOW! That is a clean and sharp design, it almost SHOUTS elegance and reserve, but of course shouting would not be elegant or reserved...

Back to basics... a bit. But the relatively simple design reminded me that the green stone is not the hardest and the grooves there may be just great to protect it.

At Furthers where the pictures come from, these are Titanium and Zirconium rings - could be anything, as far as I can tell.

How about something like this? BUt yours would be round, not square.
