is there a significance to the type of favor you are giving your guests?

We''ve toyed with:

- carbon offset credits because guests travel to our destination wedding
- donation to our charities
- a food product produced at the venue / in the area, e.g. olive oil, aged balsamic vinegar or wine

Each of these would feel personal to us for different reasons.

We're putting little mini rolls of Love Hearts sweets into our favour boxes. I think you have them over there too...the round candies with love hearts and little silly words/phrases on them?

Ross and I both love them and have often sat with a packet each, fishing out ones with appropriate words for one another, then tossing them across the room in exchange to each other!

So I guess they are kind of sentimental to us!

We went with this option.

we had planned on doing that. we wanted to get pottery from the big sur area, but instead i found seed pockets that looked incredible with our table and the lauren hooper map totes. we will be putting wine from the big sur area in the totes, so that counts right

oh gosh, i forgot to post what i was planning on using, i also want to use seed pack favors, i love the idea of the favor serving a future purpose and who doesn''t love flowers?!

We are thinking of a few options, ultimately, our choice will be made by budget.

- Donation to National Humane Society where we both got our animals. In the form of a napkin ring or bookmark
- Garden to go which can double as either the centerpiece or place cards

We gave each guest a $10.00 gift card to Starbucks with a note saying that we hope they enjoy their next cup of coffee as much as we enjoyed our first...

Our first date was at Starbucks.

No favors for us, but if we were going to, it would be a donation to the Humane Association, American Cancer Society or Best Friends.

Both of our mothers had cancer, mine passed away from it, and his passed away from complications from cancer, diabetes and heart disease.

And both of us are very devoted to stray animals.
